Adding detailed information to a row / task

I have a column set up as "Notes" that I'm using to record all the details of that task. Eg., I'm running a software project so I need more info - it's a new feature, what are the features, what did the customer request, how do we intend to implement it? I.e., detailed info rather than simple notes etc.

I can go to Card View and open the task and add notes there but the box is pretty small. Is there a way I can expend this box so I can add more details in a more readable view - eg full screen or something similar?

Alternatively, do I need to approach it another way?

Thanks for the suggestion. I've looked at the conversation feature - it may be that conversation, notes and attachments are the way forward as a wider approach.

I'm used to Engineering Task Management software which comes from an information capture bias - with timetracking added, so a slight mind shift needed 😉
