Can Form Submission messages contain dynamic content?

We have a Form submission, where submitters need to know the ID generated. Is it an option to put {{Row ID}} into the message to share that info with them immediately on screen? Things are configured to send an e-mail with that info and various other items summarizing what they entered, but the question came up about this option.

Unfortunately, it's not possible now, but it's an excellent idea!

Please submit this as a Product Feedback or Idea (If it hasn't been added already) when you have a moment.

Here's a possible workaround or workarounds

• Have the form load a dashboard with the ID after submission
• Have the form as part of a dashboard and have it reload the dashboard after submission to show the ID

Would any of those options work/help?

As a workaround, you can build automation (when a row is created), to send an alert to Created By that includes the Row ID (and any other relevant info)

@Kelly Moore thanks. That is what I have in place and it's not enough 😔 The users are asking for quicker/instant indication of the ID and 2-3 other pieces that will need to be hand written on something.

@Andrée Starå you've done it again. Having the recently created records display on a Report in a Dashboard that loads upon submitting the entry form is what I've done. This should be a good starting point to get some fresh sets of user eyes on it to guide it where they need/want it.

Are there any updates on this as an improvement to Smartsheet? I need to have a form provide a unique ID for project numbers and while I can use the dashboard idea from Jake, looking to see if Smartsheet has implemented any better options. Thank you!
