Gantt View has come to WorkApps!

We have to admit, not having Gantt view in WorkApps kind of limited the scope of its project management functionality. Fortunately, we’ve gone ahead and taken care of that.

Our latest release enables WorkApps to support Gantt view in the sheets experience! App users can now build pages using this view and end users can better visualize how tasks, timelines and data all fit together. You can leverage dependencies and automatic calculations to better understand in context how tasks fit together in a project as well as drill into key details and timelines in the WorkApp. This empowers a more contextual view of how the various components in a project are interrelated, making WorkApps even more powerful and enticing. 

This update is available at the Enterprise level for the US and EU commercial instances.

@John Hieger Can you please add the availability to see reports in Gantt view in work apps? It's equally frustrating. But we do appreciate that you at least added it for sheets and project plans.

Hey @John Hieger, I agree with @Samuel Mueller - just building out some WorkApps for the first time and agree that having a Gantt view for reports would be helpful. I have a Sheet with many columns and would love a simple-to-read Gantt view that includes fewer columns, which I can accomplish with a report.

I second that! This functionality for Reports should be a standard feature.
