Dynamic View Owner Vs Admin
Does the Dynamic View Owner (Person 1) have to be an Owner or Admin of the underlying sheets to be able to share them in a Dynamic View? Person 1 set up 50 sheets successfully in a Smartsheet Report using the Current User function to bring together all project plans across the workspaces. This Smartsheet Report was used to create the Dynamic View. All users can see the items assigned to them. Person 2 is the Owner of a confidential project (Sheet A) and is an Admin in Smartsheet and Dynamic View. Person 1 has no access to this confidential workspace or sheets. Person 2 added the confidential sheet to the Smartsheet report and can see her confidential assignments in the Smartsheet Report using the Current User. When she logs into Dynamic View, the confidential items are not there. The only difference we notice is that Person 1 Owns the Dynamic View but has no access to the Confidential sheet. Person 2 owns the Confidential Sheet and is an Admin for the Dynamic View. Help would be appreciated.

@Laura J does Person 1 have any items assigned in the confidential report?
-
No - Person 1 does not have any assignments, but is not trying to see them. Here view is blank as expected. The team members with assignments on that Confidential project can see all of their other project assignments, just not the Confidential assignments.

We determined the Owner of the Dynamic View has to have Editor or Admin rights to the confidential sheet to make this work.
