Can I build a registration form that will limit the number of registrants for a single day?

I want to build a form that allows a user to pick a date for an event. However, there can only be "x" number of entries for a given date. Goal is to notify a user when a date is no longer available.

Yes, and there are at least two options.

• Add the form to a Dashboard with a sheet showing the number of bookings available.
• A formula that checks the amount of booking and, if exceeded, a Workflow with an Update Request triggers so the submitter can select another date.
