Change Formatting in Reports

Could use a more professional look with the ability to use color palettes for headers and fonts. Overall, it would be helpful to have more formatting options. I think it would be nice to match the reports to have a similar look and feel as the charts in dashboards.

Agree - it would dramatically improve presentation of the Dashboard to be able to customize this - targeting specific audiences!

I don't understand why, after almost 2 years, this has not been implemented for all of the reasons previously posted. Is it because it doesn't have enough Wish List likes?

This gap is one reason business leaders resist adoption of Smartsheet!

And along with the fact that Dashboards allow visibility of Report data to be set at the creator's level, but the Reports themselves don't, makes using the Report tool super frustrating at a minimum and unusable at worst! (Y'all can vote for that one here:)

Add Viewer Mode Settings to Reports

The Report widget on Dashboards has a Viewer Mode, which dictates what data viewers of the Dashboard can see - only data from sheets they have permission to view, or data from sheets that the last widget editor has permission to view.

Adding the Viewer Mode with the same options to Reports would be incredibly helpful. As an example, here is a current scenario for our team:

• Our Division has a project roadmap for projects in our domain.
• A subset of those projects either have an impact on, or require the support of, other Divisions.
• In order for leaders from other divisions to prioritize and plan resources for their own roadmaps, they need visibility to our roadmap.
• These leaders don't need to, or shouldn't, see our whole project list. They just need to see those that we've identified as involving them.
• Therefore, I need to create a report with this criteria, to show them only what they need to see. But without giving them View access to the entire source data list, they cannot see any data on the report.

It seems a bit ridiculous that I could create a dashboard, add a report widget to it, and set that Viewer Mode as "Last widget editor," and they would be able to see the data. (BTW - This does not work as a solution because viewing a large report and Gantt on a dashboard is incredibly user unfriendly.)
