Smartsheet PowerBI data

Hello,

I am exporting a Smartsheet report data and importing to a PowerBI dashboard as the input data. One of the columns is a Contact column. When the data is directly imported into the dashboard some of the values are emails whereas some are names. All the values in the report are consistent and same and I also confirmed by exporting it to an excel. Any ideas on why Powerbi might be reading the data differently?

When exporting your Report data (I tested with Excel) Contact List values should appear as the display values - this is the combination of the associated name and surname to the contact of contacts in your contact list- If your exported version of the document doesn't reflect like this for all contacts, please add some captures of both the source data and the exported file so that I can look into this.

If the contacts are exported as expected, the behavior may be caused by the importing functionality in PowerBi. I've found the following articles from their documentation that may be of help:
