Is DataTable lookup supposed to be case sensitive?

Can't get fields to map to lookup because of case sensitivity it seems. Is this intended for DataTable? If so, there should at least be an option to look for case sensitivity or not.

Are you able to provide screenshots for reference and more context? What formula(s) are you using? Some functions are case sensitive while others are not.

@Paul Newcome I was using a DataTable connection so no formulas. I was using email as the unique identifier. The emails in the DataTable file are similar to "Mueller.Samuel@" and the emails in my sheet that was connected to the table were "mueller.samuel@" (because Smartsheet is lowercase). I came to this conclusion because the one record that did match had a lower-case email address in the DataTable file.

My use case is using a colleague list (colleague, leader, department, etc.) as a DataTable so I can bring in colleague leader to my target sheet (connected through DataTable lookup mode).
