Data Shuttle importing Values
When I use Data Shuttle to import data to a sheet, it keeps adding a ' in front of the numbers which turns them into text and not numbers.
For example, $23.50 turns into '23.50 when imported through Data Shuttle.
The original excel file itself is formatted correctly.
Anyone know how to fix this?

Hi @Michael Culley ,
I wasn't able to reproduce what you report but I'd like to point that you now can define the data type for each Column value in the "Mapping" section of your Data Shuttle Workflow configuration. I would suggest to define the specific Column as "Number" to try and overcome this:
If this doesn't seem to work, you could possibly use the VALUE Function in the target sheet to convert those values to the right formatting.
If none of these suggestions seem to work, I'd suggest opening a ticket with our Support team via this form or accessing the new Customer Support Portal.
I hope this can be of help.
Cheers!

@Julio S. You are a legend. I never saw that option because you have to click the little icon which I never even noticed.

I think I am having the same issue, Excel column is saved as text but even when I change the column/Data Shuttle column type to number I still get the ' in front of my numbers.

Hi Michael, did that option work for you? I have the same issue uploading the numbers using Data Shuttle workflows but it is not working for me.

@MariaYanes and @Ryingling here's a snippet from help article that explains why you may still get apostrophe in front of number

That seemed to be what I decided to do as my work around. I just have to convert the columns that are numbers over to text and it imports fine
