Automatically print a generated document workflow

Hi, I'm looking to see if there is a possible way or workaround to automatically print a generated document.

From the workflow options there doesn't seem to be a way to trigger to print, however there is a trigger to email. I was thinking of emailing the attachment to my printers email address for instant printing; however, the attachments sent via Smartsheet do not send as true attachments. Rather, they send as a URL link to a download which the printer will not interpret since it's a link, not a PDF.

I've searched for a solution using the API but have not been able to find anything solid. Google sheets has an auto-print function, but I can't seem to figure out a way to link download attachments to google sheets automatically.

Is there a possible workaround that I am missing? I've already submitted a feature request as well since this feature has been asked for multiple times from other users.

I think we could structure a solution using the 3rd-party service, Zapier, and its email parser, and maybe also a printing engine/service.

Hi Andree, I've tested Zapier but I do not see a way to add attachments via Zapier, could you walk me through a way to achieve what I'm looking for?
