Print Dashboard Layout seems to be disrupted

Hi All,

Is anyone having issues with the way dashboards are printing to PDF? We have been using the same dashboard layout for many years with no issues until this morning. Now lower sections of the dashboard are missing when scale is increased to fill the page (A$) and the formatting is inconsistent. Sample below.

We are experiencing this across multiple laptops and browsers.

Any thoughts?

    HI,

same issue. Very frustrating. We use the dashboards to prodice composite rports on contrcat stsutus for sending to clients as PDFs. When a report reaches a certain length the lower rows run over into a later page, no matter the scale set.

Am trying firefox instead of chrome, and appears to give better results, but still problems!

  • Hi @IBRIEOG and @Roland Horwood

The Smartsheet Support team recently received similar reports of this print behaviour; it appears to be the result of the v.108 update to the Chromium software engine which affects many web browsers, including:

Google Chrome / Microsoft Edge / Opera / Brave / Vivaldi

NOTE: This does not affect Safari. Please try using Safari to print in the meantime.

It also is not limited to Smartsheet - other users of Chrome and Edge have reported printing issues in other sites and applications since updating their browser on or after December 6, 2022 (for example, this thread in the Google Chrome Help Community)

    Please report this behaviour:

    • In Microsoft Edge, open the Menu, select Help and feedback, then Send feedback
    • In Google Chrome, open the Menu, select Help, and Report an Issue

    Thank you,

    Genevieve

Thanks, have reported to Google and am monitoring it @ https://support.google.com/chrome/thread/191619088/print-preview-broken-in-last-update?hl=en

Am on windows, so can't use Safari unforchunately, but Firefox offers some respite, thouhh having to apply other works arounds, as it doesn't like multi page PDFs when scaling applied.

I've downloaded and am using Brave Browser as a short term fix, appears to work OK.
