Automated process to start after comparing?
Hi.
Please help how could I get such a scenario:
- Trigger: a flag in a cell
- If the data in another exact cell in this row is equal to the data in another table's cell (that contains the preliminary data, autocopied to current table), then auto-scenario B.
- If the data is not equal then auto-crenario A (re approval process).
The goal is to skio the reapproval step if currect data is equal to preliminary.
I'm just a starter, couldn't get through the formulas by now. Please help. 😶

Not sure I follow!
Can you describe your process in more detail and maybe share the sheet(s)/copies of the sheet(s) or some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, andree@getdone.se)
I hope that helps!
Be safe and have a fantastic weekend!

There are two tables.
1st (sm.jpg) - preliminary freelance application form approval. When all the data is approved, the row is autocopied into 2nd table (smartsheet2.jpg). It has additional columns, another access rights and is used for tracking the final information and paper preparation.
There are 2 types of cases. 1 case - the preliminary info didn't changed from start to the end of process. Just a standard process needed. It's ok with that.
2nd case - some cells have changed from the start (info updated in smartsheet2). Additional reapproval is needed.
I thought to make an automated business process that is checking if some changes were done. But couldn't get through this stage. What are the ways to organize it?
Thank you for your help in advance.

Happy to help!
Do you want to trigger an approval process in the first or second sheet?
By the sounds of it, my process below might help.
Please have a look at my post below with a method I developed.

Andree,
I'm trying to automate the process on the second sheet.
Your post seamed to be what I'm looking for, but I'm just a starter and having difficulties in details. How exactly should I use VLOOKUP and/(or?) Index/match?...
