Include the column description when an update request goes out to provide some context to the column if it has a generic name.

Would love to see the column descriptions added to reports to support questions that the end user would have regarding the column types. Can't wait to see this one make it to rollout.
I agree. This would be a fantastic enhancement to Smartsheet. Having the description of a column included in an update request would save a lot of confusion and questions from the individuals receiving the request.
this would be such a win for all sorts of reasons, but particularly where you may have a workflow that involves an initial web form being completed, but then you might need a follow up to that form in 12 months time to review their responses and/or to fill in a part 2.. it would be really helpful as the 50 character limit of column headers is obviously very limiting!

It would be beneficial to be able to leverage Smartsheet Automations to make REST API calls. This has many potential use cases, but one I could see is adding users to Smartsheet groups when the are added to a 'roster sheet' in Smartsheet.
