Update Request Form

Hi,

I am wondering if there is a reason why my update request will not let the user update % Complete. Does anyone have any insight to why it will only allow certain things to be updated?

The way the Request is set up is: "On 03/04/19 at 11am In any row where % Complete is less than 100% and Start Date is in the past Send an update request to Assigned To."

I went into the advanced options at the bottom of the request and adjusted the Column Visibility to display excatlly what I wanted. But I just can't figure out why the request doesn't allow the update of % Complete.

Also, I do not have the column set to LOCKED or FREEZE.

Is there a formula in the column? Is your percentage updated via a formula? If so, that will block editing in an update request.

The % Column is manually updated. I think the problem was how I was sharing the sheet, I had the recipient set to" Viewer" so I switched it to "Editor-cannot share". I will see at noon if this has fixed the issue.

Yes, that would also cause issues. Let us all know if you figured it out.

I did get this figured out. It was literally something so simple. I was using the parent task as my test run, and you can't change the % Complete in a parent row. So thank goodness it was an easy fix!
