Hi There - part of the function I use Smartsheet for is notifying folk around changes. This almost always includes a specific recipient and a number of FYI's. Currently all recipients are at the TO: level in any email, it would be elegant if there was a CC: option as well.

Although I probably wouldn't use it Bcc: field could be useful to some folk too?

It's beneficial to know when a proofer has selected the approve or requires changes button. If a comment is not left, then it's unknown when the proofer selected the button. I great feature is to add the time stamp next to the proofers name when hovering over the status at the bottom of the annotation panel.

Is there or could there be a dark mode? My eyes are killing me with the super bright white screen.

When copying a workspace via API, I would like it to copy the automation workflows for each sheet, as it does when copying in the UI.

We would like Smartsheet to provide a mechanism to do a full backup and restore of related files. While a step in the right direction is the ability to restore to a previous version of a sheet, we find that in an integrated environment, this would not be sufficient:

We have a single worksheet that drives multiple reports and dashboards.

We have also created many dynamic views that are embedded in dashboards.

Finally we have deployed these to users through Workapps.

In the event of a problem in the source sheet, receiving an excel backup (or saving the sheet with a new name at a point in time) is not a sufficient backup, as the integration to reports, dashboards, dynamic views, and work apps would all need to be reconnected.

We hope Smartsheet can create backups of the environment and allow users to select which items to recover from a point in time backup (e.g. Daily). Ideally users could select which items to restore to ensure integration and links from that point in time were respected (at least within a given workspace).

As part of the automation it is possible to copy or move a row from a source sheet to a destinatio0n sheet. At this point all columns are copied/moved, and if a column do not exist it will be created in the source sheet.

The request for this improvement, is to allow the admin or owner of a sheet to select which columns needs to be copied or moved. This will allow for having sheets with more detailed and sensitive information, whilst a second sheet is used for sharing with customers, employees, etc. but only containing information to be shared.

This enhancement request is to enable the user to create subfolders within a Collection for organization purposes.

Add first-class support for MCP (Model Context Protocol) to Smartsheet so customers can connect AI assistants and agents to Smartsheet data and actions through a standardized, secure interface. MCP is an open standard for two‑way connections between AI applications and external systems, designed to reduce fragmented, one-off integrations and the “N×M” connector problem.

In Card View you can see the parent element in each card, as you can see in the bellow image.

This information is missing in the cards of the Board View and is very usefull.
