Re: Introducing the 2023 Core Product Certification Exam + Community Badges
Thanks! I did the certification and found it fairly straightforward, although I wish there was a way to turn the missed questions into a learning experience at the end by providing more information on the questions that were missed. I want to be able to fill in the gaps in my knowledge about some of the topics, but there is no record of the specifics missed, only the general themes.

Re: Conditional Formatting on Sheet and Row Level
It would be great to be able to multi-select "If [this column]..." columns in Conditional Formatting, so that we don't have to clone and duplicate the same formatting for many columns with the same condition.
For example, I have a number of currency-type columns and I'd like them to display in red font if they are less than zero. Do do this currently, I would need to clone the same conditional format many times for each individual column!
Alternatively, this could be achieved with adding an "OR" option, similar to the "AND" option.

Dashboard - dropdowns to hide data
tldr: something where I can hide or display data in a dashboard without just putting in a link to the data.
I am creating a dashboard that is very data heavy - think lots of charts, graphs, reports, calendars. I have a draft where instead of showing the reports/calendars I'm adding a link to them instead but what I really would like is to see if there was someway to have dropdowns where you can choose to see the data or keep it hidden. In the attached I took a screenshot of the EAP dashboard and pointed to the carrot and a second screenshot from a Word template where you can expand or collapse headers as examples of what I'm potentially looking for.
What I am envisioning is that you could have a widget within a widget where widget 1 is the main item with your data. Widget 2 then pulls in widget 1 and widget 2 is what you use to hide or display the data from the carrot (in the pic). Just a thought from someone who knows nothing about how to build these!

Re: Four reasons to attend ENGAGE 2023: #2 The Speakers
@Brian_Richardson Is our speaker dress code feather boas and crowns? I'm here for it π
In all seriousness, I am so excited and honored to be speaking at ENGAGE 2023, and cannot wait to share my experiences and love of Smartsheet with fellow SS nerds

Re: September Question of the Month π Join the conversation and receive a badge
Hi, that is a hard question, there are so many peoples in the world but I want to interview my mother that I lost when I was 18. To soon for me.
I still have so many questions about my childhood that she knows and nobody else.

Re: Custom Visualizations in Card View: horizontal rows & swim lanes
Swimlanes make the card view 10x more useful by grouping cards in two dimensions.
For example
- columns stack cards by status (started, in progress, stuck, completed)
- swimlanes group those cards by person
Here's an example from Mark Kraska
There are no current workarounds in Smartsheet.

Forms - Search within your list of forms
I would like to be able to search within my forms. I have a few sheets that have over 50 forms and it takes forever to scroll and find them.

Column border style
Hello!
Just a simple idea that might be interesting for other users. When you have many columns with different categories, there is no simple way to make a visual distinction that allows you to "group" data vertically.
So far, what I'm doing is to create a "fake" border using an empty column with background color. This has some issues, because there is a minimum width, and title is mandatory and must be unique.
The idea would be to define - at column level - some style (border thickness and color) for its left border (I think it would be enough to define just one (left or right) border)
Thank you
Jose

Have Smartsheet auto include a generated PDF in the notification email
Hello! Is there way to have Smartsheet auto include a generated PDF in the notification email it sends out once a form is filled out and submitted? I'm still relatively new to Smartsheet and I currently have the automation set up to generate a document with each form submission and send an email to a specified email address. However, as this is for an application, a PDF form is needed to forward along to underwriting for review. Having an option for the Smartsheet notification email to include a copy of the PDF itself would save the brokers time in not requiring them to go into Smartsheet to download the PDF. Is this a possible upgrade idea? Thank you!
