When I try to make a report on multiple sheets it tells me to upgrade my plan to pro plan. I'm already a pro plan subscriber.

  • Hi @Jake numba 1

I'm happy to clarify here; selecting multiple source sheets for a Report is a feature that is only available to Business or Enterprise plans. If you're Licensed on a Pro Plan, you'll see an upgrade prompt to upgrade from a Pro plan to unlock this capability.

Here's the Pricing Page for each plan that identifies what features are available per plan-type: https://www.smartsheet.com/pricing

    Cheers,

    Genevieve

  • The bummer about this is it's not really "in the brochure". Smartsheet says you get "unlimited reports" on Pro. But then when you build (speaking from our viewpoint here in our small business) 30 different projects and you need to look at them all from a report, you find out you can only have one sheet per report.

That's kind of useless since you could just go look at the sheet. You don't really need another layer of interface on a single project. It's when you need to see data from multiple projects or sheets that a report becomes a useful feature.

In other words "unlimited reports" means zero if you can't have multiple sheets in a report.

  • I use SS extensively at work, but setup a Pro plan for personal use to keep things separate. The Pro plan has too many limitations including not being able to use summary fields or reports. That completely limits what can be done with the application including effective dashboards. The next plan up is cost prohibitive because it requires 3 users which I do not need. Why not create another level of plan that includes all features for a single user?
