Move a row form one sheet to another in a different workspace
Hi I am trying to move a row from one sheet to another in a different workspace. I am the owner of the original sheet and I am the owner of the destination sheet and workspace. Is this possible as nothing comes up when o search for the sheet I want to move to.

Ok I think its just bugged I moved the sheet so its in the same workspace, I am owner on both sheets and admin in the workspace and its still not showing up when I search for it

A few things to check here:
- How recently did you create the sheet you want to move data to? It can sometimes take a few minutes for newly created content to appear in the sheet picker.
- Is it possible that the sheet name is typed slightly incorrectly? Can you try copying the full name from the actual sheet, then pasting it in the search bar?

I made it the day before so it wasn't that and it definitely was spelled correctly as I have a few sheets start with that and none of them were showing up but it works today for some reason

I am having the same problem, I did all the steps, and still does not work.

Hey @P.Cordero
Can you post a few screen captures illustrating your situation? Can you show what comes up when you search for the specific sheet name?
Keep in mind that for a sheet to appear in a Move or Copy row automation, the Owner of the original sheet will need to be shared to the other, second sheet as at least an Admin as well.
Cheers,
Genevieve

Hi,
I am the owner of both sheets

Hi @P.Cordero
What search term are you using to look for the sheet, and what is the sheet name?
In the screen capture provided, it doesn't look like any term has been searched yet. As a headsup, you'll need to type in a keyword and hit Enter before results appear.
Cheers,
Genevieve

the sheet name is CDW-resolved, but I have done this with other sheets, and I did not have to search for the sheets it will automatically pop up when the window to select a sheet was click on.
I just tried it to take a snip and I did as you mention above, I search for the first letters cdw and the sheet pop up!!
I don't know how that happen but it works now. so thank you.

Glad to hear it works for you, now!
The Search tool was updated a few weeks back and the experience changed: instead of surfacing all possible sheets immediately, you'll need to use a keyword search to bring up the specific sheet.
Here's the release note for this update:

Genevieve
