What does the above mean? How do I figure out what user actually deleted these files?

Hi @PeggyLang,
You would have to go back to the sheet that has the cell-link to the sheet you're on, and then view the history of changes for that cell. You won't be able to see which user made the change when you're on the destination sheet.
