Dynamic view and Automation

Forgive me if this has been asked/answered before, but I cannot find anything helpful and Support was not at all helpful.

Can I use Dynamic Views in combination with conditional logic in Automations? For example, is a user has a dynamic view that shows 20 rows of data, but there is an automation that I want to run requesting that they review rows only when certain criteria are met (ie, Date of Meeting is next week), it seems that the user still sees all 20 rows when they click on the link. How would I limit the rows in a "dynamic" way?
