Prepopulate Form for Update Request

We use forms to get information from our colleagues and we would want to send them a form prepopulated by their inputs so they can update the information if there are any changes.

This would be very useful if we can automate the process and make the items mandatory

You can use the URL-Query feature to pre-populate a form.

Do they need to be able to update previous information or only add to fields they haven't filled out yet?

Hi Andree,

They also need to update previous information and add info not yet included. I tried using this URL-query and send them a pre-populated form. However, it comes out as another entry. Is there a workaround for this duplication?

No, if they need to be able to update previous information, too, then you'd have to use the Update Request feature.

Other options could be a Report (need access to the sheet), Premium Apps, Dynamic View, or WorkApps.

Would any of those options work/help?

I'd be really interested in this too - if when we click manage forms there could be an update request option that we could configure to be pre-populated with branching etc, that would be hugely helpful.
