DataShuttle Intake

I have a DataShuttle workflow where users attach a spreadsheet to an intake sheet.

Question1: If multiple spreadsheets are attached to the intake sheet (via a form) does the DataShuttle workflow queue up these attachment imports?

Question2: If you have to attach a spreadsheet and wait until the workflow completes, how does an end user know that the workflow has completed, so they can attach the next one? My wish would be to have an intake status column updated with the current status... import started, import complete, import error, etc...

    Hey @earl_bennett

    Answer 1: Yes 🙂

Answer 2: The definite way to ensure a Data Shuttle workflow has been completed is to check the status of it in Data Shuttle. This does mean that your end-users won't see the log or the workflow runs so there isn't something on the sheet that identifies the completion.

Please feel free to submit your feature request for a Data Shuttle Status column in the intake sheet to the Product team by creating an Idea Post in the Smartsheet Product Feedback and Ideas topic.

    Cheers,
