Bi-directional update between 2 sheets without report?

Hi, is there any workaround that allows for bi-directional updates between two sheets without the use of a report?

For example, Sheet 1 has Unique ID and Status columns, same goes for Sheet 2. What I want to be able to do is if either the Status column gets updated for a project in Sheet 1 or Sheet 2, the information will flow back to the other sheet for that specific project based on the Unique ID identifier.

Any suggestion is appreciated!

You can't at the moment. As if you have a formula written in Sheet 1 to look at the value in Sheet 2 and then the same formula in Sheet 2 to look at the value in Sheet 1, it becomes a circular reference. Report is the only way.
