Value is not supported for this column type. Use ObjectValue instead.

Hello,

Our users are using the Calendar App icon that is designed to create a new event. When they enter an email address in the Site Contact Email field they receive the following error: calendar.smartsheet.com says "Value is not supported for this column type. Use ObjectValue instead".

The column type is a Contact List, with Allow Multiple Contacts turned on and Restrict to List Values only turned off.

Is this a glitch with Smartsheets API or is there something I can change to make this work? Out of interest when we use the web form option to create a new event everything works as expected.

Calendar App only allows single select contacts, not multi select. There's an enhancement request for this that you can upvote here:
