Start with Gantt and then quick glance at timeline if I need a quick overview of upcomings

It's probably easier to say which view I use the least, which is Calendar view. I really like the Card view, because I love moving a card from In Progress to Complete.

GRID GRID GRID GRID. A lot of what we do doesn't surface well in the other views.

I started with Grid View but branched out after earning my Project Management certification. I have seen value in all of these views. I really like Timeline View and Calendar View for getting a big-picture view of my projects. Gantt View is a must when it comes to looking at Predecessors and dependencies. Board View has a lot of nice enhancements from the original Card View. It'll be interesting to see what kind of views the future holds…

Grid view! I can see all the key details of my project and easily make edits. However, using Gantt to set baselines is crucial for accurate project tracking and reporting.

I use grid view the most since I assign tasks mostly and group the report using due dates that are past, today, this week, next week, or later.
If I have a lot of tasks assigned to me, I'd use board view more to update the statuses by draging the tile overBowen Liu | Smartsheet Expert

Grid view is my go-to in Smartsheet because it provides a familiar, spreadsheet-like interface that intuitively manages detailed data. For someone used to working with spreadsheets, the transition to Smartsheet’s Grid view is seamless, allowing me to quickly organize, track, and update project information. The rows and columns offer a structured format perfect for inputting detailed data, making it easy to view, filter, and sort information at a glance. Whether I’m tracking individual tasks, project deadlines, or resource allocations, Grid view gives me the precision and flexibility I need.
Another reason I prefer Grid view is its versatility across different types of projects. From simple task lists to more complex workflows, Grid view adapts to the needs of each project, providing a central hub where I can keep all my project details in one place. I can quickly highlight priorities, progress, or any issues that need attention. Maybe over time, I will learn to prefer other views, but for now, grid view is my top choice.

Mainly Grid view as I do a lot of the creation and back-end set up for other users.
