Control Center

Hi All!

I need assistance with forms in Control Center. My solution has a one master form that intakes requests for information. I need that information to flow to the project level as we do not want each project to have an RFI number per project but a constant running of RFI numbers. I have built potential solutions, one being copying the RFI manually to project RFI sheet, having the provisioned project have Master RFI sheet connected to Project Report (which is not ideal bc I would have to filter for every project and every project doesn't have RFI request. I would have to filter and make blank and remember to connect filtered project name). I am going in circles trying to solve for the ideal solution with limited manually work since there are going to be over 100 projects. Any help is appreciated.

Are you able to provide some screenshots for context?

@Nikki17 I'm not fully understanding your point, but surface level sounds like you'd have an auto number on the intake, pass that value to the project via profile data process and use it in the project how you'd like. If a project doesn't have one, just don't use it. I mean if you were going to copy it manual I'd still use the profile data one time write feature. Note you may be referring to this but if you use a value that isn't known up front you can't filter by that value automatically, you have to add that manually, no way around that (technically). I don't feel like I'm helping because I'm not fully understanding your ask.

we have a request form that we want to add for projects to submit with a column that automatically generates RFI #. I don't want a form for every project when permission because we want to keep the RFI #'s 1, 2, 3, 4 etc instead of each project having their own RFI sheet which would cause project 1, RFI #1,2,3, Project 2 RFI# 1, 2, 3, 4 etc. I need the information request to flow to project from the initial RFI intake sheet

Yes, I want to pass the data to the project sheet. At the project level there is a blank RFI sheet per project that is in the blueprint. This sheet is where I want data to flow from Master RFI data collection sheet to the project RFI sheet.

You would set up an auto-number column in your intake sheet and then set up Control Center to create a cell link from the intake sheet to the project level sheets.

I created a cell link for Master Intake sheet, it is bringing all of the RFI requests into Project sheet. I think I am doing something wrong

I formulated target sheet at the Project Level to index/match Project ID. When project is provisioned, row 1 has Project ID automatically in Project sheet. I need the Project ID in every row because that is what will match DR# in Master sheet at the portfolio level.

Another obstacle is since I am using one form, when i provision project, every project sheet provisioned is added to portfolio dashboard report and is report project 1, 2 ,3 when it should only be project 4
