Activity Log Snapshot
Question…
If I delete 62 rows and I locate them on the activity log to download the snapshot, should I only see just the 62 rows? Im asking because it is giving me a snapshot of what the sheet looks like today and not at the time of deletion. The deletion took place on September 11th. What I'm looking for is not listed although i'm downloading the snapshot. Any ideas?

You can download the activity log which will give you a CSV file of the log and it will contain the data deleted including row and column reference. You can then use that to put the data back to Smartsheet.

Thanks Soumitra! So this is how I normally locate deleted information but for some reason, when I click on the snapshot for the day the items were deleted, what I see in the log is not reflected on the actual Excel file that I downloaded. I found this to be baffling because I've never seen this behavior before. I've always downloaded and restored deleted rows to my sheet with no issues. I've been noticing some weird things going on with Smartsheet so I did not know if the activity log was affected in some fashion. This is driving me bats. I'll contact Support because this is an issue and I don't have time to wait for ProDesk to answer this question. The wait time is to far out. I really appreciate your assistance.
