Our marketing department handles the event marketing and promotions for a company that puts on 14 road races. Each race's deadlines over lap with the other race's deadlines. Is there a way to see all the tasks from multiple sheets on one sheet but sorted in order of deadline?
Yes. You need to sort your dates column so that they are in order you want to see. Next run a report on all of the races sheets and you will see your data. If you have a trigger like a column task complete in each sheet when things are done they will be removed from report so all you see is active items.
Sarah - You can do this through the reporting feature. Create a report and restrict the reporting to those 14 races. Select the columns you want and run your report. Once you have created the report, you filter the columns as needed to get the results you want.
The great thing about reports, is that you can mark the task as complete, or in progress, and it is automatically refelected in the sheet as well.
Hope this is helpful, !
Jef
Thank you Jef and Jeremy! I will try the report function.
