Include update request button on Alerts

Hello,

Is there a way to include the update request on an email alert? 

We currently send our customers a notifications when they submit a request. What we would like to do is give the customer the ability to update the request without giving them access to the sheet. We also do not want to manually send an update request each time from the sheet. 

Ideally to do this is to include a button or link for request an update on the notification. 

If that is not feasible does anyone have some creative workarounds that would allow our customers to update their requests without needing a smarsheet log in?

Hi Brian,

You'd want to set up a separate rule to automatically trigger an update request. This means that people would get the notification email (so they could see what has changed) and the update request email.
