Smartsheet/JIRA Connector: Errors during Sync (Proxy Errors)

Hi there:

So we have a number of smartsheets linked to JIRA via the connector and over the past couple of days I've been receiving error emails that say "Invalid response from JIRA. statusCode: 502, reasonPhrase: Proxy Error statusCode: 502, reasonPhrase: Proxy Error" Assuming we need to contact JIRA/Atlassian about this but wanted to see if anyone had any information behind why this is occurring?

    Thanks for reaching out. You may want to create a support ticket for additional troubleshooting of this issue with our support team.

    However, this issue is typically seen when the connector runs into an issue with your firewall or proxy settings. I'd work with your IT department to ensure there is nothing blocking the connector and any firewalls or proxy settings are configured correctly, according to this article https://help.smartsheet.com/articles/2476656-jira-connector-firewall-setup-troubleshoot
