Gantt rollup for multiple projects

We are trying to rollup multiple project sheets that have tied in metrics. The gantt view is not allowing us to have the dependency arrows on our rollup. Do you have any suggestions how to create this? We have multiple tasks on our project sheets that have dependencies but our phases do not. I tried copying the dependency column link from the metric and project sheets but as soon as I enabled dependencies the system erased it and locked the cell.

I don't have an answer, but, i did find a previous post with a solid response from Craig as to why it wouldn't be seen at https://community.smartsheet.com/discussion/report-builder-gannt-chart-predecessors-not-working
