Copy-paste an image into a field in a webform
Hi,
I have a form for users to report bugs in software (and I'm sure I'm not alone in that!).
Users should be able to copy-paste a screenshot directly into a regular field in the form, instead of having to save the image and then upload it.
You can do this in the sheet itself (works a charm), but you can't do it in a form (yet) and the extra hassle of saving and uploading can make all the difference when you're asking users to do you a favour ;o)
Do you need this too? Then don't forget to vote for it ;o)

We need this functionality also.
Users of the forms should be able to take a photo in a field without attaching it to the role.
In a Template Sheet called "Barcode Inventory Management" (Screenshot attached) a similar feature can be found in a field called "Barcode Image". However, using the Form does NOT allow users to take a photo into a field.
At the moment users would have to be given access to the main sheet to be able to add a screenshot or photo to a field and not as an attachment which is not the best.
I hope this gets fixed quickly.
Thanks.

We use smartsheet for exactly the same purpose (DIY bug reporting form) and my president just complained to me about the same thing. Why isn't it possible for form users to just paste an image into a form box?
It literally works in this form box I'm typing into now. Why not in Smartsheet forms?
