Date showing in Calendar Details

I know that a date column is required for the Calendar App to utilize your data, but is there a way to hide the date format from appearing in the details box?

Our calendar is currently showing items that happen each day and only for an hour at a time, so nothing carries to a second date. Currently, every details box has the date appearing but would love to eliminate that text from showing.

You can choose to hide the date in the Calendar App from the 5th tab, "Time and Design":
