Is there a way to edit the Details Panel Layout for Calendar App entries?
I have text fields where the text extends the size the of the box, thus, not showing all information to shared users when they view the details of calendar entries.
Similar to how one is able to determine what fields are shown (and how) in the Details Panel Layout for entries in the Dynamic View app, is there a way to have this option in the Calendar App?

Hi @LJ Simpson
Thank you for clarifying! Currently there isn't a way to specify text-wrap or multi-line within the details of the Calendar window, you would need to select Open Row to see the full row and content within the sheet. (Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment).
That said, although you can't set this function for all of your text fields, there is one type of Calendar field that does display in a multi-line box by default. If you just have one column that needs to show all of its content, you'll want to map this Column as your Task Details under the 3rd tab (Map Columns).
Let me know if setting this specific column as your Task Details for the Calendar has resolved your issue!
Cheers,
Genevieve

Hi @LJ Simpson
Yes! If you go to Edit the Calendar, navigate to the tab that says Additional Columns. Here you can select what columns you wish to display in that pop-out card field... see here:
It's number four in the list on our Help Center, see here.
Let me know if this works for you!
Cheers,
Genevieve

Hey Genevieve,
Thanks for your answer, however, I still need to address HOW the information is shown. As of now, the full text box and text isn't being show. Instead, only a line of the text is shown and the rest is hidden within the form of the text box. In the Dynamic View, I'm able to rectify this by displaying as "Multiple Line." I don't seem to have this option in the Calendar App.

Thanks Genevieve! Mapping the Column I needed as Task Details under the 3rd tab (Map Columns) helped.
I will definitely submit an Enhancement Request.

Hello! Is there a way to do this within Calendar View? Or is this only possible through the Calendar App?

Hi @adistler
The Calendar View in the Smartsheet Application only shows the Primary Column details in the Calendar as the name of the task. You can open up the entire row by double clicking on that task, but the way to customize what appears is by customizing the columns in your sheet (e.g. deleting extra columns or renaming columns in Grid View).
Does that help? I'd be happy to clarify further, but it would be useful to see a screen capture of your current calendar with a description of what you're looking to do (but please block out sensitive data).
Cheers,
Genevieve
