New form entries overwrite existing row
Hi,
I'm using a form in order to collect scores from various people, for the same project. Ideally, each new form entry should appear as a new row in my sheet - but instead, what Smartsheet does when someone adds scores (through the email update request form) is overwrite the previously existing scores in the same row in the sheet (instead of creating a new row with the respective person's scores).
Is there a solution to this?

Hi @vvk,
I hope you're well and safe!
Yes, but you'd need to use the Form option instead.
Would that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Be safe and have a fantastic week!
Best,

Hi @Andrée Starå, vvk, how do you use forms to replace an existing row? I haven't had luck finding anything online with an explanation.
-
@Andrée Starå Following up on this, if possible?
@Paul Newcome See above, maybe you can help? I can't find the answer searching the community. Thank you all!
-
@murphyspccms You cannot use a form to replace an existing row directly. You would have some kind of unique identifier on a row that is also entered in the form and then use formulas with cross sheet references to pull over the most recent updates.

ok, got it. Thanks for the quick response, @Paul Newcome !
