It seems like there is no way to share information and ensure the user sees ONLY what you permit. We have a workspace shared to 2 ppl, Owner and Admin, We have sheets that we did not share in the workspace. We locked columns and hid everything on the sheet and then created reports from the sheet. Viewer access was granted on the sheet. The reports showed what we wanted. On the source sheet we hid ALL columns excited for one.

We knew viewers cannot unlock or hide, but the VIEW DETAIL function on the sheet let's them see everything anyways. What's the point in hiding and locking if they have that option?

Is there a solution I am missing? Thank you!

Do you have access to WorkApps or Dynamic View?

Those two Premium apps would be fantastic for your need.

Good morning Andre - I knew Dynamic View was my BEST option but not able to procure in time. I do have Work Apps. How does that solve my confidentiality issue?

In WorkApps, you can share a report, for example, with the Current User set, and they don't need to have access to the underlying sheet(s).

It's a separate permission system from the main Smartsheet.

Make sense?

Meaning I create a report of the entire sheet and setting filter on that report with "Current User" they will only see their data?
