Is there a way to generate documents via automation?

I know the answer is no for base smartsheet, but I saw people recommending add-ons like Zapier to achieve the same goal. I’m not sure if they were referring to the same thing I want though.

What I want to do is have a column that is Yes/No or a checkbox. If a cell is Yes, it’ll automatically generate a document/autofill a template. If No, it won’t do anything. Is there an add-on that achieves this?

Yes, there are a couple of options. What kind of document is it? One page or multiple pages?

Can you describe your process in more detail and maybe share the sheet(s)/copies of the sheet(s) or some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, [email protected])
