Hi!
Could you add the ability to enter in elapsed days (non-working days) into the predecessor field? This would be similar to the e#d in duration. Thank you!!
Kind regards,
Helena
Please allow for this , have submitted over and over again.

Smart sheet does not seem to allow for ELAPSED TIME in predecessors such as 3FS+e4d. IT does allow for it in durations. This creates difficulties in creating timelines when production activities (7 days) share a timeline with people activities (5 days). This request has been around since about 2020 from what I can tell.
Hi,
Like other users here: https://community.smartsheet.com/discussion/72625/elapsed-time-in-predecessors, I'm also requiring to utilize elapsed time in lag (sometimes things happen on weekends, but not usually). Doing something like [Line]FS + e1d does not work.
Desperately needing to be able to use elapsed duration in predecessor column. Works great in the duration column using e30d to specify 30 calendar days. But I can't create leads and lags the same way. I see many people looking for this in the user forum. Please fix
ALl our projects with Regulatory bodies use calendar days not working days for Lag
Absolutely need this feature! Same comment here about regulatory bodies
Ditto. Any update on this feature?
Adding my support for this idea.
Huge proponent of Smartsheet, but for project management Smartsheet needs to add elapsed time in predecessors. This is a critical feature that is present in MS Project. I have seen requests in the forums for this dating back years.
Can't wait to see this rolled out in Smartsheet in the very near future!
Still surprised this hasn't been implemented.
I need to be able to schedule tasks on Sunday after the previous task is finished on Friday. But without elapsed time in predecessors this is not possible. I can make duration e2 to have the task run on Saturday and Sunday but this is confusing not the result I need.
Please add elapsed time in predecessors. My schedules include contractual and review period durations in conjunction with working days to create the deliverables.
This would be a very helpful feature. Many projects require a combination of elapsed time and working days so being able to indicate which to use would be excellent.
I was working with a few project managers on how to build out their timelines and I was surprised that the predecessor column did not allow for the ability to use e days. I told them to use weeks for the moment but it doesn't calculate exactly the date they require. This feature should be standard
Hello, I have seen requests for this functionality for Elapsed days in Predecessor and Lag time since 2016. Is this functionality that you intend on adding? this function is really important when trying to schedule 30, 60, and 90 day PIE tasks.
