Unable to Rearrange Rows, Please Help?

I'm new to Smartsheet (though well-experienced with Excel and Google Sheets) and was shared on a document with Admin privileges. I'm unable to rearrange the rows, either through dragging/dropping or copy/paste. I'm sure there's an easy answer but I'm not seeing it, please help!

Hi Anna,

Make sure that there isn't a filter active. Was that the issue?

Can you describe your process in more detail and maybe share the sheet(s)/copies of the sheet(s) or some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, andree@getdone.se)

Hi Andrée,

There doesn't seem to be a filter engaged, see screenshot below:

In general, when I go to drag it highlights the row and acts as if it will move, but doesn't:

Ok.

Are you clicking and holding on the little area on the left of the number when you're trying to move the rows?

Yep. Dragging and attempting to drop. Nothing happens.

A thicker line highlights the space between the destination rows as though it will move, but doesn't. The same thing happens with using Copy/Paste functions.

I'm sorry, I can only share with a Smartsheet admin, not a 3rd party.

Strange!

It doesn't look like the rows or columns are looked. Can you double check your sheet permissions?

What happens if you make a copy of the sheet? Can you move rows on the new sheet?
