I am starting to think submitting Enhancement Requests do us no good if basic features get brushed off and replaced by Someone's Agenda during their Enhancement or Executive Meetings.
#1 Question To The Enhancement Dept. - Why do we Submit Enhancement Requests if all you're going to do is ignore them?
This request has been on going between two pages since 2021 (see img below) with broken promises. π«Smartsheets needs to realize that eventually people will get tired of waiting and take their $$ elsewhere.

I created a suite of Reports for our organisation without testing the Print capability (why would I need to do that?) π
Hopefully this request gets some traction.

I have also logged a complaint about this issue and would like to see a resolution. Ability to print on paper and/or PDF while maintaining formatting seems like a fundamental feature.

Re: Sharing reports with data without even view access to the source sheet
My team uses a single sheet to store data for multiple suppliers. Due to data confidentiality we cannot share the source sheet to all the suppliers as one supplier should not see the other suppliers data. We create different reports out of this sheet and filter them by the respective suppliers. But when we share these reports, they turn up blank on the supplier end as they do not have access to the source sheet. We currently use report widget in the Dashboard to share these reports but it prevents us from getting inputs from the user. It would be really useful if we could share reports without actually sharing the source data.

Smartsheet plays a HUGE part in providing me the opportunity to operate at peak human. Being at my peak potential comes when I am given opportunities to grow my skills and contributing to our team, being a change agent and helping to drive change in processes, saving time and overcoming challenges at work are just part of why I love my job. Helping others to grow their own potential and save time in their day are also part of who I am and what fills my soul. Maintaining a work/life balance is also a major part of operating at peak human and I am grateful to have both! π

Re: Remove 'Upgrade' button once request is sent
The button is a distraction as anytime one of our user's mouse rolls over it, the button expands.
Most users from a business account have no ability to upgrade to a license holder, so it seems to not be a viable back-end promotion.
Removing it would reduce the confusion and irritation, honestly.

We have several users who periodically send an upgrade request using the 'upgrade' button next to the search dialog.Β We have informed most users that they do not need to upgrade to use the system, but the button appears to be too tempting to avoid.Β This results in too many requests being sent to team members unintentionally.

The ability to print/export a grouped report is obviously wanted and needed. I hope this is an update we see soon.

Agree with user's community's feedback. This design gap should be addressed because without the grouping on the printed, exported versions, the report loses a great deal of context. It becomes worthless. Report info are often for a target audience so unless you build specific dashboard just to display the report to "print", that's not a good workaround.
