I have a sheet in my blueprint that I want to copy rows from to another sheet in the same blueprint. When Control Center spins up projects, I want to be able to have the destination sheet change dynamically so that it's going to the selected sheet within the new project toolkit and not my original blueprint.

We are looking for some direction on how to proceed with this (old but) new idea post. If you review my comments above along with the other 2 genetlemen in the string (@Jeff Sieben & @bsmith4 ), we're wanting to get some traction on this idea that spans not only this area of Smartsheet Community but many other areas (discussions, etc).

After reviewing FAQs and Guidelines for posting Product Feedback Ideas — Smartsheet Community, I can summarize below what we're trying to achieve based on the rules.

• What problem are you trying to solve?  --> No ability to collapse and expand parent rows
• What is your use case? (Describe a scenario or story.) --> Larger sheets with multiple participants makes the experience both for owners and editors/contributors/viewer undesirable. The column expand/collapse is only great with smaller sets of rows.
• What is your ideal solution? --> Both an option to use right-click or hot-key to expand or collapse a row (with children, ie parent).

Can you advise how to help us folks out here? I assumed based on the Guidelines that moderators would have grouped, trimmed, and summarized our ask here since it's been an ongoing issue posted since 2018 within multiple posts (not exhaustive).

We have a Smartsheet that tracks the illustrations for an educational program, and it now has close to 1,000 rows, one for each illustration, each with a proof. For some reason the sheet sometimes will try to open with the right-hand proof pane set to "all" instead of "row," and when it does, the whole screen locks up with a "page unresponsive" message for as much as ten minutes at a time while it tries to load all the proofs.

We have many users for this sheet, and it is hard to get the word to everyone that it's not crashed, please don't try to refresh the screen, just go get a cup of coffee and come back in a while. I personally have lost a LOT of time waiting for this sheet to unfreeze. I have become good at closing the proof pane every time before I save or leave the sheet, but sometimes it just decides to open that way anyway.

An obvious fix would be to break the sheet into several smaller ones, but right now that is not an option.

Could there be some way to add a setting to have the proof pane open to "row" by default, so the user has to click on "all" to see them that way?

It would be a great feature if you could group columns by creating a hierarchy systems just like you can do for rows. Thank you!

I agree that there needs to be a fix that when a row is moved/copied to another sheet, there is an option whether it appears at the top or bottom of the destination sheet. This is already an option for new forms being filled out.

This is not helpful a helpful "solution" - the report widget is limited to 500 rows max.
