Form submissions
Is there any way to track forms that have been started, but not submitted?

Ah ok.
You could embed the form on a webpage then track that page's number of hits with Google Analytics (or similar). This will not tell you how many people started the form then abandoned it though. Just how many people hit the page.
There are also some plugins that track how far down the page was scrolled.
But nothing in Smartsheet proper though.

My client is not getting as many submissions as they expected. I believe some people may not submit responses because the form is either too long, or has too many required fields. Knowing the number of forms that were started then abandoned, may help me convince them to simplify the form to make it more effective.

I'm not sure this particular client would want to go that route, but it is good to keep this in mind for future clients. Thank you
