Provisioned Project Plan Changing to Gantt View from Grid View

We have a project plan that we spin up using the multi-tier functionality in Control Center (the plan is our child project) and each time it is provisioned the default view is Gantt. BUT in the template it is in Grid view (which is what we prefer).

How can I fix this?

Have you selected the default view in the template? Is it in Smartsheet or WorkApps?
