The New Board View

The new board view looks nice and works well for some members on my team, but most are having a lot of issues with it not loading or page is freezing. I even have some people on my team not able to change the view and is just stuck on the page.

Any one else having issues? Any suggestions on how to fix or what maybe happening?

Hi all,

I checked in with the Support team and they confirmed that others have contacted them about the same behaviour: Users couldn't exit out of a promotional dialog for the new Board View. Our engineers have made a change to address this issue.

A browser refresh might be needed to resolve the issue.

Yes, I am having the same issue. I submitted a "case request" through the customer support.

Boardview is extremely laggy and you cannot drag attachments into the card. you have to got to the add attachment and browse for it or drag it into the add attachment box. card view you could drag them right into the card

I agree Board is still causing a lot of issues. Also there isn't a way to see a proof on Boardview, so I hope this isn't replacing Card View yet.

@Marcela Is there anyway to turn this view off? It is messing up my teams' workflow. For some reason, the Board view is defaulting as the default view. Which is causing their screen to freeze and unable to view the sheet.

Board View does not appear to work in Edge (which is the second most popular internet browser, so you'd have thought maybe it would be tested… 😶). If you scroll down three or four cards in any column then the column "gets stuck in a loop" oscillating up and down.
So nice though it looks, Board View is currently unusable.

Thank you for posting your feedback and experience with the new Board View. The Product team is continually looking for ways to improve - they are aware of the lag that you've mentioned here and are actively investigating the cause.

In the meantime, please do continue to add your suggestions and feedback regarding this new view by creating Idea Posts in the Smartsheet Product Feedback and Ideas topic, or voting on Ideas that currently exist!
