Discovered a new issue with smartsheets recently if you are a user that doesn't like to see windows animations. If you have the path below checked to "No" smartsheets works significantly worse when having the attachments pane open on a smartsheet (or report) and smartsheet links directly to a row takes you to the top of the sheet with the row selected instead of taking your view to the actual row.

No idea why it does this and I hope it gets fixed. But for now I have to have Animations on to make smartsheet feel usable.

Settings > Accessibility > Animation effects

Thanks for this, We're experiencing very slow cell at attachment responses since Smartsheet's backend update last week. I sent your finding to our IT Dept. have been investigating, their response.

"I tried the suggestion on the link. It’s true!

Even the attachment tab is open, the navigation is responsive, with just 1-2 secs delay moving through rows and cells. Comparing to 8-10 secs delay when animation is off. However, enabling animation effects on a shared desktop can affect the CPU resources.

Also, it’s not advisable in a Citrix environment. The transition between windows and dialogue boxes, menu, dropdown menu, etc. would be laggy if it’s animated. Doesn’t give that “instant” effect.
