Please add the capability to lock/unlock fields/columns for editing by Group Assignment.
While Groups can be assigned with or without editing permissions to a sheet, Columns can only be locked for editing so that only administrators can edit locked columns. Being able to assign permissions that would only allow users in selected groups to edit specific columns would be helpful and roll up to reports.
Use Case: Assign two groups with Editor permissions to a Sheet: Logistics and Programs. There are some columns I want Logistics to be able to edit, but no other groups. There are some columns I want Programs to edit, but no other groups.

It would be great to have some added ability to restrict which users can make edits to specific columns. Currently, you can lock columns and only Admins can edit those columns. However, if I have 1 column that is fine for one group to edit and another column that is fine for a different group to edit, there is no control. I either have to make them all admins and hope they don't edit each other's columns or micromanage who is making edits to the unlocked column to make sure they are allowed to.
Maybe something that can be added to the column properties where there is a "only allow edits from specific users" options and then you can add in those users.
