SmartSheet Automation and Sheet Update Delays

I've ran into an issue when trying to maintain a sheet. Triggered settings within automation to send out emails to assigned users have been receiving delayed emails anywhere from 1-2+ hours.

Is there an explanation on what could be causing the delay?

Initially there were about 40 automation flows setup to send to various individuals based on certain conditions, but have cleaned it up and brought it down to about 10. In addition, the sheet itself hit the threshold row limit of 20k but have then since removed the clutter and fluff to get it down to 8k.

I'm unsure what else could be the issue on why it could be causing such delay. Process is just filling out a form submission and when certain fields are met it'll shoot the email out to specified users and update on the row.

It is a pain same thing happens to my sheets all the time, many days its just 10 minutes or so which is acceptable but other days emails might not even go out or its a good hour before they receive them. Sorry for not having a solution but I also feel your pain.
