Send Row / Update Request Enhancement
I utilize the Send Row and Send Update Request quite a lot and I always customize the columns that I need to send.
The majority of the time, I utilize the same columns and need to customize it every time. It would be helpful if the user could save a few different templates to choose from.
Please let me know if I can clarify or elaborate on the idea.
See below for an example of "templates" below the customize.

Love this idea!

Hello Ian,
That is a great idea. I've added your vote to be able to save preset settings for columns to include on the send row/update request functionality.
We appreciate your input!

I vote for this as it affects my use also,

I also love this idea as I utilize the send row tool quite often only want to send the same columsn back to the end user.

I love this idea and would also like if we could customize the Subect line and body of the email to make it more applicable to how we use the update request. Currently I have to type the same message everytime I send back and update request.

Has anyone figured out any work-arounds to this?
Adding another vote...

PS - similar thread with more questions. If anyone is using Smartsheet in this way, I'd love some advice!

My +1 to this as well. It's a bit tedious to have to do update reuqest columns manually every time. Even if we could have a list of templates, or just one per sheet would be a good start.

this would be a great feature to build. I use update row(s) alot and the ability to save a customization as a template would be a big time saver.

To work around the current customization limitations in Update Requests, I created Reports with the columns that I want to show in my Update Request. The source of the Report is the original Sheet that has all the columns I created. I create the Update Request from the Report. The user will only see the columns showing in the Report and not all the other columns showing in the original Sheet. I hope this helps.

Great suggestion, Omael! I've also added votes for this enhancement request for all the responses in this thread. Thanks for your input, everyone!
