Export Dashboards
Hi All,
I really need to export my reports and dashboards and the PDF option is too limited.
After exporting to PDF and then using a program to convert to PowerPoint or Word, the quality is not the same.
We as a company would strongly recommend the option to export reports and dashboards (Word, PowerPoint, etc.) directly from Smartsheet.
See picture of how dashboards look after converting to Word from another program.

use the snipping tool instead of exporting the entire file as long as it fits on one page.

Hi Luke,
Still not ideal as you'd need to stitch a dashboard together (if it extends down past the limits of your screen) and it is still an image and exhibits all the limitations (e.g. text scales poorly, larger file sizes etc.).
I agree with the OP that the dashboard export functionality is too limited.
Kind regards,

Hi Luke,
I've tried to use snipping and it is exactly how Chris described.

Hi Chris,
What do you usually do in this case?
Thank you.

Hi Nathiele,
I'm in the same boat as you are unfortunately. The pdf export option used to be better. Despite assurances to the contrary, the default option provided a dashboard that printed full width and without a grey background.
I've raised the issues here: https://community.smartsheet.com/discussion/printing-dashboards-change-parameters
Kind regards,

Hi,
just an idea if you really need to show a static image of the dashboard in your PPT.
There used to exist PPT add-ins that allowed to import or show webpages in powerpoint. Don't know if this does the trick for you, but maybe you give it a try: http://www.skphub.com/liveweb.htmAnother option could be to use a screenshot tool that can scroll a webpage till the end: SnagIt for example.
Personally I just don't use a static PPT, if I can show the live dashboard.
I have a web connection most of the time and use either a hyperlink to open the dashboard in my browser, or I have the dashboard pre-opened and just switch to the browser.Best regards

I am trying to export a Smartsheet dashboard in to One Note for a team huddle board. We need it to be linked with Smartsheet so that when changes are made it will update the dashboard on the huddle page in One Note.
Has anyone been able to do this?
Thanks!

Hi Greg,
Unfortunately, as far as I know, it's not possible at the moment, but it's an excellent idea!
Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment.
I hope that helps!
Have a fantastic day!
