How to print without Conditional Formatting?
I have a sheet with a lot of conditional formatting that must be printed in the gantt view without any of the formatting. So each week I have to disable all the rules, print, and then enable them again. It's tedious. There must be a better way.
Any thoughts on how I can generate a gantt in a PDF without the rules and without the "disable / enable" routine?
I've tried many options but, to me, they seem like more work. "Saving as new" without the formatting isn't worth it. Reports carry the formatting over. Exporting to excel carries the formatting and loses the gantt chart...
Thoughts?
Thanks!

You could make a report that pulls that sheet data without formatting..

Finally figured it out. The answer is to create a dashboard and "remove formatting" when you add the report widget.
Unless I missed something, you can't do this in just the report, unfortunately.
It's not perfect as I lost some formatting I wanted to keep but it was the only way to remove the conditional formatting.

Hi Mark,
Excellent workaround!
Unfortunately, it's not possible at the moment to remove formatting in the report, but it's a great idea!
Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment.
Have a fantastic week!

That's what I was remembering.. sorry. Yes, only dashboards can remove the formatting right now.
